Hunter Surprise

For the past couple of years the soccer team that Hunter plays on has traveled to St. George for a soccer tournament. When he has gone he drives down with his coaches family and stays with them because we have not been able to go for various different reasons. They usually leave either the day before Thanksgiving or this year they left Thanksgiving night. Games start bright and early Friday morning and continue through Saturday (depending on how well your team does). This year his team made it to the finals. The game was at 6:00 pm Saturday night. Saturday morning after Hunter called to tell us about his first game we had a good feeling that they would make it to the finals so Broc and I decided to surprise Hunter by taking a road trip to St. George for the day. We drove down and home all in one day. Iain and Jentzen were so excited to see Hunter and they actually traveled well. We got down there just in time to see the game (5:30) and then see his team take second. They all received a medal and then we went out to Nielsen's for custard. It was a very quick trip but well worth the look on Hunt's face when he saw us on the sideline.
